I’m a goal-oriented person. I set goals and work to accomplish them. Anyone who knows me well knows this about me. I also strive for excellence in everything I do — this mentality sometimes sets me up for failure. I mean it’s okay to just be good at something and not great, right? Hmmm? That’s still hard for me to accept.

Writing: Becoming an Indie Publisher and Author

Late in 2021, I become a published author, having my poem INVENT in a poetry book entitled, Things We Do, for pre-schoolers published by Pomelo Books. This wet my appetite to have more publications.

In the spring of 2022, I was invited to participate in a poetry reading at an art gallery where I have my handcrafted jewelry. This invitation motivated me to publish some of my poems on nature and personality in an indie chapbook called, Life’s Inspiration and Reflection and in a Few Words. It can be found on Amazon and is affordably priced.
