A Photo Journal Of Our Beautiful National Parks

Some of my fondest travel memories are of the beautiful landscapes I’ve witnessed in America’s National Parklands.

Haleakala National Park, Maui

On each of our trips to Maui, we visited Haleakala National Park. Viewing the crater of Mt. Haleakala, cider cones and all, is an other-worldly experience.

On this trip, we drove the infamous Road to Hana, passed by the town, and headed to the other entrance to Haleakala National Park to hike the Pipiwai Trail through a bamboo forest. I’ll never forget the serenity of being surrounded by bamboo as it made musical sounds in the wind!
