Excellent article with great points. I taught at two universities- both private- one large and well known and one small and only known regionally. I was an adjunct at both. My pay was abysmal but more than that the politics of spinning things to the community was eye opening. This only applies to what I saw at the small university. But that said there is a lot of fluff that could be gotten rid of and a lot if it exists in so called leadership roles. Thanks for sharing. And - go ISU. Proud of them.
