I Exploring the Innards of Wisconsin: It Has More Than Cows!
We’ve lived in Wisconsin for almost 24 years. The State has a lot to offer.
This spring I’ve traveled quite a bit within the Midwest. Some travels, like those from our cabin in the Wisconsin Northwoods, where we live now to the La Crosse area where we lived for the first 23 years of our time in this state, are common. I’ve made them many times before.
I’ve also been south to Northeastern Iowa, a trip that takes me down the Great River Road or State Route 35 which runs next to the Mississippi River. This is also a familiar trip — one that I’ve made most times by myself for almost ten years to deliver the unique jewelry pieces I make to a non-profit art gallery in a small riverside town. It’s always a nice trip when you have a mighty, historical river to gaze at on one side and bluffs with eagles and hawks soaring around them on the other.
