The A-Z challenge continues and I’m up to the letter F.

Frost

Honestly, I had to think about what I was going to post on. This morning’s drive to town took us through some fog-lined streets that reminded me of different types of frost.

Everyone knows frost on the windowpanes in the winter. But in nature, there are other kinds of frost. One is hoar frost and the other is rime ice. Since rime ice does not have the requisite letter “f”, I’ll stick to hoar frost today.

What is Hoar Frost?
