Foodie Monday: Buffalo Foods Found

Wow! While shopping at a Country Market in Medford, Wisconsin this past week, I found that they carry two food items that I have not been able to find in Wisconsin for the last 23 years! Both are foods that we typically bring back with us from a trip to Western New York because that’s where they’re made! Being able to find them 900 miles away is a treat!

The first find was a hot Buffalo wing flavored cheddar cheese. For the last five years, I’ve brought a wedge of this cheese back from our Buffalo, New York trips. Now, I don’t have to! I can get the same wedge in the small city of Medford, Wisconsin!

Sahlen’s Hot Dogs

While shopping for fourth of July food, food for company, and our regular groceries, I came across the Buffalo-made hot dog brand Sahlen’s, again in Medford’s Country Market! All they had were the foot-long dogs but it is the brand we like best, so I just HAD to buy them!
