Hi Motaz, I apologize for my late reply. I did not see your question until now. I learned inDesgin for a graphics course I took but did not use it for my book. It is a complicated program, in my opinion.
Anyway, KDP has formatting help right on their site. I believe you'll have to make an account to be able to see it, though. One of the key things to decide first is the size and format of your book. I chose a trade size (6x9 inch) and paperback. I believe there are even page templets, too.
After you have imported your writing into the pages (using a selected format), you have the opportunity to order a pre-sale author copy to check margins, text placement, etc. I ended up doing this twice (I think they were $2.00 a copy plus shipping for a total of $6.50) . But, it is well worth it. Although I didn't have gutter issues, I had some text starting at different heights on facing pages which did not look professional. I corrected it and got another author/preview copy before I had it go to market.
There is still a little learning curve. But, it is much easiler than InDesign, I can tell you that much! I also kept copious notes on where my page margins were and size/font of text for poem titles and inbody text.
I used canva for my book cover design. That was easy too (but I had prior experience with that software).
I hope all this helps. You should try it. I found the experience very gratifying once the book was done.
