I love this! I think it is spot on. Our son is an artist - a successful one by 19 years of age! He got in his top choice college but decided not to go (he as a 2020 grad). He is self taught and had developed a following during the early days of the pandemic. He continues to be a success - by anyone's standard. Although I am a great proponent of formal education, I knew he needed to forge his own path. I'm glad we let him do so. Thanks for reminding people its not all about a piece of paper!
