Medium Is Frustrating Me — Here’s Why

Simply put, I cannot find anything I even want to read on Medium!

I am a constant self-evaluator, so it makes sense that I am evaluating this writing platform with each post I write and post. I am also a voracious reader. And, naturally, I evaluate what I read as well.

I like to learn new things — about new places, new people, experiences, hopes, dreams, difficulties, and even how to solve some of the world’s problems like climate change. I also like to share information — that’s the teacher in me.

One thing I am not is sensationalistic, either in life or in my writing. You will not find a sensationalized title in my posts. Instead, they are straightforward.

It’s almost the end of the month and I’m looking at my numbers. They are poor. Midmonth, I seemed to be doing well, but now — not so much. The most per month I’ve earned since joining the MPP in August was $11.02 last month, a slow but steady climb each month. I won’t reach over that amount this month unless something extraordinary occurs.

I write about the environment, education, nature, and travel. Having two master's degrees, in nursing and environmental education, I am a teacher at heart.
