Providing value to my readers is important, but getting the reads has been difficult lately.

March came in like a lion

March was a great month for me on Medium. I had an article boosted and it not only boosted my views and income, but it also boosted my confidence. The article, shown below, is one of my many on U.S. National Parks. I love writing about the parks. It fits with my love of nature and travel, as well as my profession as an environmental educator. I have a master’s degree in natural resources and love to share information about our earth.

This article had 1.1K views with 74% of them internal. To date, it’s earned me $30.47.

Another article that performed well for me in March was about the expense of living on St. Thomas, one of the US Virgin Islands. We visited this island in February and the expense of groceries was shocking.

I write about the environment, education, nature, and travel. Having two master's degrees, in nursing and environmental education, I am a teacher at heart.
