Readjusting to a Time Zone Shift

A six hour difference is enough to throw us off

We’ve been in the UK since Monday noontime. Traveling by plane from Wisconsin to Minneapolis to Chicago to London on a red eye, no sleep was had.

After we arrived at Heathrow, we successfully navigated getting to the train station to get to our final destination for the first leg of travel which was Euston Station.

Buying tickets from a person, instead of a machine, we knew we had to go to Paddington on the train and then transfer to the tube to get to Euston.

It took asking four different people, all of whom were very nice, but we were able to do it.

By 2 pm we were stashing our luggage and then grabbing a bite to eat. Still, we felt okay.

Our plans to ride the hop on-hop off bus fizzled, so we hung out in a park before going back to Euston station to ride a sleeper train to Fort William, Scotland starting at 9:15 pm.
