Seen While Out For A Drive

As a passenger in a car, I often find myself taking photos.

Fall is a great season! It might even be my favorite with warm days and crisp nights. Since we’re not near any stores where we live now, we have to travel an hour by car to reach any big box stores or department stores. Often there are great sights to be seen right out the car window.

This week we were treated to some great shelf clouds on Friday.

We saw quite a few wild turkeys on the side of the road wandering back into the brush on this trip as well. They can actually move quite fast when danger is near so I don’t have any photos of them.

Ten years ago, I got this photo, which I’ve always enjoyed! It makes me think of my father-in-law who did not like wind turbines. I believe we were with him when I took the photo!

In January of 2021, we had gone to New York to see my parents. The day we decided to return to Wisconsin, there was a snowstorm. The I-90 was closed…
