Some of My Favorites in Photos
The context behind my Silent Sunday blog post on WordPress.
Each Sunday for the last five years, I’ve written a Silent Sunday post on my WordPress blog, The Apples in My Orchard. It’s been immensely popular with my readers.
Last week, I started adding context to the pictures I chose each week, based on my chosen theme. Here, on Medium, I add an explanation to the photo to give it some meaning. This week’s theme is “My Favorites.”
The first photo is of Tabacco Bay in Bermuda. Bermuda is my “favorite place.” I love the island nation for its beauty and gentility. The turquoise blue water and pink sand beaches don’t hurt either!

This photo of ripe sour cherries is from our own yard, a residence we lovingly cared for over the last sixteen years. In 2015, we had a boon harvest of cherries and apples, both!
