I was never a “dog” person until we got Molly, our AKC registered yellow lab in the late summer of 2019. She was only 8 weeks old when we got her but was trained by the three little girls whose family owned her mom and dad. She was the last of her litter to be “picked” for whatever reason. To us, she’s perfect. She’s a great addition to our family and now we couldn’t imagine life without her.

This year we’ve also been playing “grandma and grandpa” dog sitters for Stewart (below) who belongs to our youngest son and his girlfriend. Stewie is still a puppy and loves to egg Molly on with his energy and speedy “get away” tricks. They loved playing with sticks on our winter walks. We took Stew back to his owners yesterday. He’ll be missed.
