They’re Mine: The Last Bag of Milk Chocolate Kisses!

Instead of duking it out, I turned my cart around and headed for the candy aisle!

Before December 6th, I had made three batches of Christmas cookies. Two were Mexican Wedding Cakes or Snowballs as we call them. And one batch was peanut blossoms. They went with us to New York to be given to my folks when we visited in early December. We left all of the cookies with them when we headed home.

Earlier this week, we were doing some Christmas food shopping and my husband asked for more peanut blossoms. For those not in the know, these are peanut butter cookies with Hershey's kisses placed on top in the middle. They are one of our favorites and probably the favorite of many!

I said sure and we proceeded to town to go to the grocery store, adding the kisses to my list. In town, my husband when to the hardware store and I went to the grocery store. In the store, they have a seasonal aisle where items are sold that are considered essential to some. I found this aisle crowded on December 24th.

I stood there looking at the Hershey Chocolate products. There were bags of cherry cordial kisses, peppermint kisses, almond kisses, and more. But nowhere to be found was Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Kisses — what I wanted.
