This is so true. There is a lot we are missing today that contributed to who we are as adults. My boys- now young adults- believed in the tooth fairy, Santa, and the Easter Bunny for years. They had imaginary friends and pets. I fear that these things are gone and will hurt society as a whole as the children of today become the adults of tomorrow. Thanks for a thoughtful article.
